Jerry Kostovick

Jerry Kostovick

Jerry was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but his parents moved their large family of 9 children to Harrison, Maine in 1970. His family regularly attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bridgton. Jerry always believed in God but never realized who Jesus really was and what He did for him until much later in life. After high school Jerry attended Central Maine Vocational Institute in Auburn for Graphic Arts and pursued a career in the printing industry. It was at that time when he stepped away from the church and went his own way. He met the love of his life, Becky, at work, and they were married in 1995. Soon after that, Jerry started his search for the Lord and prayed to receive Jesus as Savior in the late 1990s. In a couple of years they started a family and the Lord blessed them with two beautiful daughters, Colleen and Shannon. Wanting to raise their children in the Lord, Jerry and Becky started attending South Paris Baptist Church in 1999. They were both baptized in June 2000 and soon became members. They were surrounded by a loving church family where they went through discipleship classes, attended Sunday school and small groups, and learned and grew in the Word. Jerry has taught Sunday School and has been involved with Men’s Ministry. He has served as a Deacon or Elder since 2005.
